Saigon Grill is a Vietnamese chain in NYC. We go to the one on the corner of Amsterdam and 90th. They serve “Bun Xao” a noodle dish with a “special sauce” you pour over the noodles. I think the “special sauce” has crack in it. Not only do I have to order this dish once a week, but everyone in the restaurant gets it too. The menu has everything Asian under the sun but the only dish being served in “Bun Xao”….you decide. Saigon specializes in delivery. They deliver in 3 minutes flat and their delivery guy drives a Vespa not a bike.
So if you are looking for a cheep noodle dish ($7.95 served with your chioce of meat) try Bun Xao. I bet you can’t just order it once.
I’ve long wanted to be a food critic because be honest, what’s cooler than getting food for free at great restaurants, especially in New York! Well I’m not alone in that dream but can do it anyway. So come back often to read my reviews of the wide variety of wonderful restaurants in NYC.
